Twyford Church of England High School

case-study-3

The top floor of our Humanities Block was completely re-designed during the summer of 2015. With modern new classrooms it was important that our AV provision matched the new environment.

As we are a Promethean based school, we considered Ultra-Short-Throw projectors with Promethean PRO ActivBoards, replicating our last major classroom refurbishment. Unfortunately, however, these have proved to be problematic for us over the past year. Digital Message have been extremely helpful during that time as we have together sought to resolve these issues with Promethean, but our conclusion was that there was a problem with the design of the boards.

With help and advice from Kevin Boles at Digital Message, including arranging for us to visit other sites where Promethean ActivPanel Interactive LED systems were installed, we chose instead to equip these rooms with ActivPanels. They were installed over the summer by Digital Message and significantly add to the look and feel of the classrooms.

At the time of writing, term has not yet begun so they have not been used ‘in battle’ as it were, but the teachers that are going to be using them are very happy with the new systems, and we are confident they will fully meet all of our expectations.

We have been extremely satisfied with Digital Message and are happy to work with them. Kevin Boles, our Digital Message account manager, has been working closely with us for a number of years and knows our school and our needs well, and he is always willing to go the extra mile for us. His knowledge of the latest equipment is second to none, and the quality of the work he does to understand our requirements and provide us with fully broken down and costed proposals and quotations is superlative.

It is worth saying too that Digital Message’s installations engineers provide a first rate service, leaving rooms clean and tidy and making sure that everything is satisfactory afterwards.

We would be happy to recommend Kevin and Digital Message to other schools and organisations.
